Mills signs with Wildcats

(TRINIDAD, Colo.) – Trinidad State's Teryn Mills recently decided to continue her volleyball career at Johnson & Wales University in Denver. The libero/defensive specialist from Chaparal High School in Parker, Colorado missed about a third of the 2016 season with an injury but still managed to rack up almost 400 digs and 10 service aces.

"I am extremely excited for Teryn," commented Trojan coach Melissa Hardman. "She is a coach's dream when it comes to work ethic and attitude. Teryn will be missed, but she is destined for great things! I am excited to see what the future holds for her, as well as to hear about her season next year!"

Teryn will be joining former teammate Emmy Gazaway on a Wildcat team that had a 14-26 record in the NAIA last season. Besides her success on the court Teryn was also a NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award winner as a freshman and was named Region IX All-Academic.
