Claire Gay recently signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Gay, from El Paso, Texas, spent most of her time on the defensive half of the field for the Lady Trojans but still scored a pair of goals in her time at Trinidad State. She was also an NJCAA Academic All-American as a freshman.

The Wildcats went 4-8-6 last season in the NCAA Division II Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Gay will join former Trojan Rachel Fraser in the Wildcat's defensive side of the field.
