Title: Assistant Coach
Before coming to Trinidad State, Worrell, the former JUCO Region IX (9) player, finished her playing career at Texas A&M International, where she was instrumental in the turnaround leading to a program-best 25-7 record at Texas A&M International, a member of the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference, playing under Head Coach Nate Vogel. 
 
Before transferring to Texas A&M International, she was a 2-year starter at Chadron State (NE), a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). She was also a 2-year starter for the Northwest College Trappers. 
 
The Colorado native attended Fountain-Fort Carson High School, where she finished as the all-time leading scorer in school history. She was a four-time All-Conference 1st Team selection, a 2018-2019 Colorado High School Activities Association All-State selection, 2019 5A Colorado Springs Metro League Player of the Year.
 
Worrell has a Master’s degree in Special Education from Texas A&M International and a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Physical Education.
