
TRINIDAD, Colo. – Trinidad State College Director of Athletics Mike Salbato has announced the resignation of Jenny Hugins from her position as the Women's Basketball Head Coach.
"Coach Hugins has been a huge asset to our women's basketball program for many years, first as a player, then as an assistant and for the past two years as our head coach," Salbato noted. "She brought a great deal of passion and basketball knowledge to our team. We want to wish her the best in whatever path she chooses to follow and thank her for her service to Trinidad State."
Hugins led the Trojans for the past two seasons after serving as the assistant coach for three years and finishes with an overall record of 9-47. Coach Hugins led the Trojans to a 9-19 record this season, which included at trip to the Region 9 quarterfinals, three wins over in-state rival Otero and two All-Region selections in Violeta Rojas and Lani Albert-Neha.
