TRINIDAD, Colo. – Trinidad State College is pleased to announce Jenny Hugins as its new head coach of the women's basketball team.

Prior to assuming the head coach duties, Hugins was TSC's assistant coach for four years. She also played for Coach Rich Holden and the Trojans in 2016-17 before finishing her basketball career at William Penn University.

"I am looking forward to getting started and to have the opportunity to coach the Trojans. I know the student-athletes and feel like we are going to have a great season," said Hugins.

Hugins is from Pueblo, Colorado, and has strong family ties to Trinidad. She holds a degree in Digital Communications from William Penn.

"My goal for the women's basketball program is to be successful and competitive in Region 9 not only in athletics but academically as well"

Coach Hugins is already busy recruiting for the upcoming season.
