(TRINIDAD, Colo.) – Following an amazing two years at TSJC, basketball standout Tammarrah Gothard has decided to continue her education at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison. The 5'4 guard from Aurora, Colorado was one of the leaders for the Lady Trojan team that made it into the postseason for the first time in program history this past March. Her sophomore season she averaged eight points, four assists and nearly four rebounds a game. In her career she started 49 games in the blue and gold, scoring 427 total points at TSJC. Tammarrah was selected as a member of the 2017 All-Region IX South team.

"Tammarrah is just a straight point guard," commented Coach Rich Holden. "She has such a great understanding of the game. We are certainly going to miss her. Western is a good fit for her moving forward."

Tammarrah will join a Mountaineer team that was 7-19 this past season, playing in the always-strong RMAC conference of the NCAA Division II.
