(TRINIDAD, Colo.) – Coach Rich Holden recently announced the signing of Cedaredge forward Hannah Gilmore to the 2017-2018 Women's Basketball squad. Gilmore averaged almost 12 points and over seven rebounds a game as a senior. She also had one of the top shooting percentages in the state.

"Hannah Gilmore is another one of those 'sleepers' that we pride ourselves on finding here at Trinidad State Junior College in all of our athletic programs," commented Coach Holden. "She may not dazzle you with certain physical qualities, but if you watch her play you will find incredible shot selection which led her to shoot an unbelievable 65% from the field throughout her high school career at Cedaredge High School. She also possesses outstanding positioning skills and great versatility that will allow us to use her as a low post and a wing in any given situation. Hannah is definitely a high character person, who will work very hard to excel both on the basketball floor and in the class room."

Hannah will join the Lady Trojan team that finished second in the Region IX-South this past season. They hope to make a run to the top spot in 2018.
