The Trinidad State Softball team traveled to Las Vegas, New Mexico this past week and picked up three key victories to move into third place in the Region 9 standings. Freshman pitcher Kirstin Ferguson picked up two of the three wins. She was aided by home runs from Kelly Kight, Angelique Navarro, Ramona Navarro, Ka'Zem Wood and Ashley Burns and some solid defense by the Lady Trojans. Trinidad travels to Lamar for a 4-games series this weekend to face the Lopes with games being played at 12-2 pm each day.
