Biyombo signs with Virginia Commonwealth

Men's Soccer sensation Biska Biyombo has decided to continue his playing career and education at NCAA Division I Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Biyombo, from Iubumbashi, Congo, was a two-time All-American at TSJC. He scored 38 goals in the past two seasons and was a force to be reckoned with by opposing defenses.

He will join a Ram team that plays in the NCAA Atlantic-10 conference. They went to the NCAA tournament last season after sporting a 12-7 record, losing to Butler in the second round. VCU has had many professional soccer players come through their ranks and just recently sent a midfielder to D.C. United in the MLS draft.
