Men’s Soccer reloads for another run

Men’s Soccer reloads for another run

2014 was a magical year for the Trojan soccer squad.  It is going to be a tall task for them to duplicate that success, which included winning 22 games and making it to the NJCAA National Semifinals. Making the journey more difficult this season will be a change in the postseason seeding rules, which now have only one school from the district qualifying for the national tournament.  Compounding things even further will be the loss of several key players like All-American captain Oscar Rivero, and all Region IX selections Ricardo Zacarias and Alan Garcia Pena.

Despite all of the obstacles, Coach Aaron Miller seems ready for the task of rebuilding his Trojan squad and returning them to National prominence once again. Along with a great crop of new players coming in the Trojans will return at least six 2014 All-Region selections including first teamer Aleksa Blagojevic.

Trinidad enters the year ranked 10th in the preseason national polls and will get play underway in mid-August.
