Roswell Tournament:

Trinidad State Traveled to Roswell, New Mexico, to take on New Mexico Military Institute and Frank Phillips.

Game vs. New Mexico Military Institute:

The first game was played ,Friday, November 5th, against New Mexico Military Institute.  The Trojans were nervous and had a slow start because of the Broncos physicality.  New Mexico Military Institute took an early lead by forcing turnovers and being aggressive on the offensive end.  Going into halftime, the Broncos held on to a seven-point deficit.  The Trojans had to be happy considering how poorly they were executing.  Unsure how, but Trinidad State entered the second half reenergized, determined, and focused, to take over the game. They were playing extremely hard, sharing the ball, and winning almost every 50/50 ball.  The game came down to the wire, and the Trojans took the lead and the victory.

Game vs. Frank Phillips:

The next day, Saturday, November 6th, the Trojans faced Frank Phillips, Trinidad already knew it was going to be a tough test after a back-to-back.  For a majority of the first half the teams were trading buckets, but Frank Phillips slowly pulled away with their transition offense.  The Trojans continued to battle in the first half.  During the second half Trinidad looked extremely sluggish and lackluster.  Frank Phillips was able to hold on to the lead for the rest of the game.
