Nyack College signs three Trojans for 2018-19

(TRINIDAD, Colo.) –  Three more Trojan baseball players have decided where they will be playing after their careers at Trinidad State come to a close. David Gauthier, Seth Crummer and Alex Bedard all signed their National Letters of Intent to play in Nyack, New York for Nyack College. The Warriors are a NCAA Division II school in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Gauthier is a left-handed pitcher/Utility player from Ozias-Leduc school in Mt. Saint Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. Last season he had a 6-1 record with 45 strikeouts and a 1.80 ERA.

Crummer is a right-handed pitcher that worked mostly out of the bullpen last season. He is from Aguilar, Colorado and he played at Trinidad High School. He finished last season with six strikeouts and an 8.38 ERA.

Bedard is an outfielder from Pointe-Levy school in Levis, Quebec, Canada. He played in 52 games for the Trojans as a freshman, picking up 54 hits and crossing the plate 53 times. He had eight doubles and three triples. Alex finished his first season with a .298 batting average and a .386 on-base percentage.  

These current Trojans will join former TSJC Baseball alumni Alec Petterson and Herman Alvarado on the Warrior roster next season.
