Trojans Sign to NCAA Schools

The NCAA recently opened up the 2018-19 signing season and three Trojan baseball players were quickly scooped up by schools at the 4-year level. The three that signed their National Letters of Intent to play in the NCAA next year are Eli Sievert, Brennen Geraghty, and Conrado Diaz.

Sievert is a right-handed pitcher from Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School in Thornton, Colorado. Last season he had a 6-0 record with 53 strikeouts and a 3.25 ERA. Eli recently signed to go to NCAA Division I Arkansas Little Rock next season.

Geraghty is a right-handed power pitcher from Beaumont High School in Beaumont, California. He finished last season with an 8-4 record and one save. He had 80 strikeouts and a 2.93 ERA. Brennen will head to Canyon, Texas to play for West Texas A&M next season.

Diaz is a power hitting catcher from San Ysidro High School in San Diego, California. He is a solid catcher and swings a big bat. Last season Conrado hit nine home runs and collected 64 hits. He finished with a .360 batting average. Conrado will play for the NCAA DI University of Texas Rio Grande Valley next year.
