
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the first time in program history, the Trinidad State Trojans are in the top 20 of the NJCAA DI national polls as released by the NJCAA on Monday afternoon.
The Trojans are 10-3 on the season which all of its losses have come against nationally ranked teams: No. 17 Barton, No. 18 Colby, and No. 19 Eastern Florida State.
"This is very exciting news not only for the team but for Trinidad State as a whole" stated Head Volleyball Coach Karli Bustos. "The support the team and I have from everybody on campus is a blessing and we a very thankful. Now, it's going to be about keeping the girls focused and taking it one game at a time."
TSC joins No. 6 Northeastern, No. 17 Western Nebraska, and RV Northwest as the only teams representing Region 9 in the polls.
