Women?s Soccer signs two

(Trinidad, CO)- Trinidad State Women's Soccer coach Peter Freeman recently announced the signing of Bailee Fowler and Caitlyn Cox for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. 

Bailee Fowler is from Longmont, Colorado where she attended Longmont High School and played club soccer at St. Vrain FC. During her time at LHS she earned Northern State All-Conference, All-Region Honorable Mention, and All-State Honorable Mention.  She also lettered in orchestra while earning a 3.75 GPA. 

"I am very excited for Bailee to join our program," commented Coach Freeman. "She played at a very high level with her club team (SVFC) and she is a very versatile player that can help strengthen our defense and midfield. She will be joining our program this spring and I look forward to getting her game action during our spring season."

Caitlyn Cox is from Laramie, Wyoming where she attends Laramie High School. She is a dual sport athlete and is a four-year varsity letter winner in soccer and a three-year varsity letter winner in Basketball. Caitlyn has had great success with her high school team, most recently helping them to 2016 State Championship.

"Caitlyn is a great addition to our program," said Freeman. "She has great work ethic and is extremely driven to succeed as a team. She will be a great addition to our midfield. I look forward to her joining our program next season and to her positive impact within the team."

The Lady Trojans are preparing for their spring practice season with scrimmages coming up through March and April.
