Shorthanded Trojans fall on road

Shorthanded Trojans fall on road

Vs. Lamar

Trinidad continued their away game stretch at Lamar.  They were missing a key contributor and played banged up.  Still the Trojans had faith in each other.  During the first half there was little defense involved.  Both teams were scoring at will.  The offense was not great, but there was no effort on defensive end.  Lamar was the healthier team and had all of their starters, so they took the lead heading into the half.

It was a close game to start the second half, but selfishness led to the Trojans demise.  There were several bad plays whether it was shot selection or throwing the ball away. And Lamar was getting easy points in transition.  The Trojans did not have any answers.  Lamar grew their lead and Trinidad did not know what to do.  The coaching staff decided to make several substations.  While the Trojans did not win, after a catastrophic debacle they stuck together on the road and still competed.  Trojans fall to Lamar.
