Ruddy Estrella, the current assistant coach for Trinidad State College, steps into his first year as head coach for the Brooks Bombers. Ruddy was born in New York and grew up playing ball in the Dominican Republic. He went on to pitch 2 years at the Western Oklahoma State College where he was ranked number 1 for the top returning players in the Plains District with a 1.23 ERA, 3 wins, 1 loss, 2 saves, 16 appearances and 22.0 innings pitched and ended National runner up in the NJCAA tournament. He then went on to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma where alongside the team, led the school to their first world series appearance. He had his coaching debut in 2019 as the assistant/pitching coach for the Regina Red Sox until 2022, where he helped lead the team to the world series and two-time division championships. Ruddy is excited to bring his passion and knowledge of baseball, and hopefully a championship to the Town of Brooks. #BombersNation.
